Samsung Gear S4 Model sm-r800, code-named Galileo, may have two sizes, which will add health and fitness functions, support deep sleep tracking, heart rate recognition and even blood pressure monitoring.
the latest news shows that Gear S4 may no longer exist. Samsung has recently registered two trademarks in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Samsung Galaxy Watch and Samsung Galaxy fit respectively. That means Samsung will be able to name the new wearable products it releases this year.
The smartwatch is renamed Galaxy Watch by the Gear S series, and the Smartwatch is renamed Galaxy Fit by the Gear Fit series. Rising from the independent Gear series to the classic Galaxy brand,
Samsung is looking to further enhance the brand image of wearable devices. After all, rival Apple’s watches are fairly straightforward to name, and Apple is easy to understand languages, while Gear S is somewhat complicated.
It is believed that after renaming the Samsung Galaxy Watch, people’s understanding of the Samsung Smartwatch will improve. Of course, just by applying for a trademark does not fully infer that this year’s new product must be the name, but also may be due to the need for intellectual property protection.
But given that this year is the five anniversary of the Gear brand, it may not be possible for Samsung to make any big moves. It is worth mentioning that 2016 Samsung released its flagship smartwatch Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier, in the second half of last year, launched a campaign-oriented gear sport.
It can be seen from here that Samsung is also looking at the Gear S series update cycle, as well as product diversity issues. almost certain that will bring new wearable equipment to the IFA exhibition in September this year. We might as well look forward to the surprise of Samsung this year.
